I've never had a studio. I've never had a dedicated space for crafting and creating. Always my desk or dining table was repurposed into temporary craft space. It was all fine till you wanted to eat or use the desktop computer. Now I do. Once the insulation and wall coverings are installed, (not till Autumn) the organizing will begin. I have tables set up, roughly demarcating the allotment for various crafts. I plan on adding a height adjustable desk, some glass front display cases with room for books and a second height adjustable table. Some crafts need more room. I have a table loom that likely use the space where weaving and spinning boxes now hold space. If you imagine much of the supplies will be occupying the back wall, with works in progress projects on the table areas. It may make more sense. Well at least for the fiber supplies.
Papercrafts, Cricut, and Stamping go together and Painting, Pen & Ink, Drawing etc are across the aisle. Beading, gemstones and wire wrapping will go together. Knife making is on hiatus and all things Lapidary will wait for the QRGMC to reopen this fall. Sewing will be back right side. The studio has no electricity, everything will be powered by 12v batteries and recharge for free via solar. For now the lights are Makita battery operated. I do have some regular lights in the garage, one floor and one desk. A whole solar setup is planned for the future.
You might wonder which crafts are going with me to VT. Though it is tempting to create more gem/bead trees, the supplies weigh a fair bit and are bulky. There is a ‘Making Zen’ workshop featuring Sashiko stitching. I will do that and continuing completing a knitted cowl. I find old jeans and remove the pockets for reuse. I will stitch on those. I will also make some patches. They will come in handy at the RTR’s next winter.
Mentioned above is the QRGMC, it stands for the Quartzsite Roadrunner Gem and Mineral Club. It currently costs $20.00 go join for the winter season (Nov - Mar) and most classes are $4-5 per class plus you buy supplies. (Many instructors make up project kits for purchase. Below is an online bunch of workshops all involving mindfulness. I’m focusing on Sashiko stitching this summer, and i thought it would be a great way to kick off my summer of creativity.

Wow! So impressive. Happy you have all this space for all your creations. Interesting about the Zen stitching. I never heard of it. Looks very cool. Enjoy your studio.
So exciting to have such a space! Fun to plan it out. Can certainly relate to the dining room table. 🤣
